Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are the people our residents see every day. You'll help with personal care, meal preparation, community outings, recreation, and the steady, unhurried presence that makes A Mother's Dream feel like home. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with licensed nurses, family liaisons, and a small team that's been together for years. We train you well, pay you fairly, and never ask you to do the work alone.

What you'd be doing

• Support residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping
• Accompany residents to appointments, community outings, and recreation
• Document care activities clearly and communicate shift notes
• Partner with nursing staff on medication reminders and health observations
• Build genuine relationships with residents and their families

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or GED
• Clean fingerprint clearance card (or ability to obtain — we help)
• Valid AZ driver’s license and reliable vehicle for community outings
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn — we pay for training)
• Experience in caregiving, special education, or healthcare a plus (not required — warmth matters more)
• Must be 21+
